Ethel’s Vanilla Custard
Items Needed:
12 large eggs
1 ½ cups sugar
5 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
nutmeg (optional)
Items Needed:
Mix eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl.
After fully blended, pour into a 8x13 glass baking dish. Lightly sprinkle top with nutmeg (optional).
Place in a preheated 350º oven for 60 minutes, until nothing stick to a knife when inserted into the custard.
Remove from oven when custard has fully set. Chill completely, cut and serve in squares.
Refrigerate until served.
